School Liaisons

schools to enhance the school-age education experience.
The School Liaison provides military commanders with the
support necessary to coordinate and advise military
families of school-age children on educational issues
and needs, and to assist in solving education-related
problems.
Support includes:
• Educating
local schools and communities about the needs of
military school-age children and the military community
• Providing
resources to parents, students, school, commanders, and
communities that facilitate school transitions and
relationships
• Maintaining
current information on the availability and access of
educational services for military school-age children
• Mobilizing
community resources to reduce the impact of the military
lifestyle on military school-age children. |
