Intramural Sports |
|
Intramural Sports
provide opportunities for participation in a wide range
of individual & dual sports for both men & women with
primary emphasis on participation. The intramural
program is based on unit/squadron group participation,
which creates a Competitive league. Intramurals is open
to active duty personnel stationed at MCAS Cherry Point. |

Please Note: An
organizational meeting is scheduled prior to the
beginning of each season. Coaches are requested to
attend.
Recreational league open to all personnel
assigned/attached to MCAS Cherry Point, including DoD
and NAF employees, family members 16 and older and
retirees. |
|
In order to participate in a league, teams must submit a
letter of intent (LOI) as well as a team roster to the
Athletic Office approximately 3 weeks prior to the
league starting. The week following deadline for LOI's &
rosters to be submitted, there will be a coach's meeting
to go over the rules of the league & hand out game
schedules. Games typically start the week following the
Coaches meeting. |

Varsity Sports
are open to active duty personnel who are stationed
aboard MCAS cherry Point. Varsity Sports include soccer,
softball, tackle football, baseball, rugby, etc contact
the Athletic Dept for more information. |

MCAS Cherry Point Athletic Dept is also host by
direction/request of HQMC to many East Coast Regional
Championships as well as All-Marine Camps. Regionals &
Camps include but are not limited to Men's Softball,
Men's Basketball, Men's & Women's Volleyball. For more
